Description

Design as an alternative to the new opera in Amsterdam (at the time not yet built, presently the STOPERA).

The design was made after a proposal of Maurice Huisman previously intendant of the Dutch National Opera.
In 1964 he made the proposal for a travelling opera.

Partly in protest against the architecural designs for the present Stopera, this alternative design was made.

Inflatable canopy structured for good acoustics. 24 Mack's to support the structure, stage and amphitheater
