increase visibility for collections
DynamischArchief is a platform for artists to archive their works digitally. We work with a bottom-up structure, meaning that the artist becomes the archivist. This avoids copyright issues and after all the artists know their works best. The platform is designed to be user-friendly, no prior knowledge about digital archiving is needed.
Our mission is to increase visibility for collections. Instead of objects being "hidden" in an isolated depot, objects become accessible in a digital realm. *
Our vision has grown over the past few years. We aim that the collections should not only become visible on the internet, but also be placed in a lively and narrative context. This led to more activities: making exhibitions with 3d scanned objects from the DynamischArchief database into Immersive Narratives.
Now, artists can insert their objects into our database, and create their own VR exhibitions.
Another objective is to reconstruct and revise historic exhibitions.
All of our objectives have led to our project XR Theatre Museum, which premiered summer 2026 on the PARADE theatre festival in Amsterdam. We showcased an XR (Extended Reality) reconstruction of the 1922 Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam International Theatre Exhibition.
