VR RECONSTRUCTION AND NEW DESIGN OF THE APOCALYPSE AT THE STEDELIJK MUSEUM 2023
The Stedelijk presented five decades of artistry by multi-talented Felix de Rooy (Curaçao, 1952) with film, theater and visual arts in countless forms from paintings to assemblages and from (digital) collages to wall hangings. Far ahead of his time, De Rooy investigated topics that are still relevant today, including the impact of the colonial past, everyday racism and the meaning of Afro-Caribbean and queer identities in art.
Works from the Apocalypse will be published in the second VR exhibition,
opening in 2025

Dynamic Archive in brief
Collection management systems are historically focussed on the inventory of Mobile objects, Immobile objects or Intangible Cultural Heritage.
All in separate databases, without a structural link between these datasets.
BRIEF HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT
DNA is built on the fundament of the CulturalHeritage.cc database blueprint (2000-2018), a top down collection management system.
2006
CulturalHeritage.cc develops the ‘All-in-One’ collection management system connecting the Mobile, Immobile and Intangible Heritage datasets.
2019
Dynamisch Archief (DNA) started and added a Bottom up structure do the system. Several 'permission layers' are implemented for a variety of users. The Creative Maker becomes the archivist.
DNA distinguishes itself from existing collection management systems with the possibility to start informal networks initiated by the participants themselves: the Creative Maker(s).
The focus of DNA is on the performing arts because of the diversity of collaborating creative makers.

Compare to social media platforms
Instagram is the most invasive app, according to cloud storage firm pCloud.
The app is said to be sharing a staggering 79 percent of your personal data with third-party companies, including everything from purchasing information, personal data, and browsing history. It also uses 86 percent of your data to sell you more of the Facebook group's own products and serve you relevant ads on behalf of others. Facebook is reported to come in second, whereas apps like Signal, Clubhouse, and Netflix do not share your data with third-parties or use it for marketing at all.
