Since 1994, with occasional breaks, Anthon Beeke has made the posters for Amsterdam’s KunstRai, for which he always used artists as models, disguised in their own visual art idiom. That year the KunstRai wanted two posters. The poster shown here was intended to attract a more affluent audience: it’s a cat with diamond and feathers. Apparently it didn’t work, because the year after they only wanted one poster.
